A total of 13 young Palestinians were shot by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and 14 others were detained during a raid on the Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Sources and witnesses said that a large number of IOF soldiers stormed the camp, deployed on rooftops and raided more than 50 homes.

One of the houses raided was that of the governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley Jihad Abu al-Assal.

Sources added that the IOF opened fire and tear gas young residents, resulting in 13 injuries, one of which is in critical health condition.

The IOF blocked all entrances to the camp and prevented citizens from passing through.

Ambulances were also banned from entering the area.

The IOF also seized surveillance camera footage from shops and homes in the area.
