Wednesday, bulldozers of the Israeli Occupation municipality of West Jerusalem demolished several commercial and residential structures in Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

According to Wadi Hilweh Information Center, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) surrounded a piece of land in Wad Qaddoum before breaking in and demolishing structures, claiming they were built without permits.

Notably, Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem say they are forced to build without the necessary permits because the Israeli Occupation authorities rarely issue permits to Palestinians.
