Jordan extends condolences to India over train crash victims

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan has conveyed its solidarity with the Republic of India following a train collision in eastern India that resulted in numerous casualties and injuries. In a statement received on Saturday, the ministry expressed heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the government and people of India for the victims of the tragic accident.

The collision of three trains in eastern India has resulted in a rising death toll, reaching at least 288 individuals according to Indian authorities. Footage aired by Indian media outlets depicted mangled train cabins, bloodstains on twisted metal fragments, and numerous passengers lying on the sides of the tracks near Balasore, approximately 200 kilometers away from the regional capital, Bhubaneswar.
