Monday morning, dozens of Israeli Occupation settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque compound under the protection of Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The Islamic Waqf Department said they entered the vicinity from al-Maghariba gate,  took 'provocative tours' and performed Talmudic rituals.

Notably, the IOF has recently intensified measures against Palestinians coming from Jerusalem to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque, including inspecting IDs and briefly detaining worshippers.
