Monday, two Swedish individuals set pages of the Holy Quran on fire in front of Parliament in Stockholm, replicating a previous act at the city's main mosque in late June.

The Swedish police had granted permission for the Quran burning, as the organizer explicitly requested to demonstrate in front of Parliament and demand a ban on the Quran, stating their intention to burn it there.

In response, dozens of demonstrators gathered, holding copies of the Quran and protested against the individuals involved in the burning, who remained aloof, wearing sunglasses and appeared smiling.
