The Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced Monday the latest prices of fresh produce.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 2,549 tons of fresh produce including 1,619 tons of vegetables, 786 tons of fruits 143 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

Eggplants: 15-25 piasters
Broccoli: 150-225 piasters
Onions: 15-30 piasters
Potatoes: 30-50 piasters
Watermelon: 15-25 piasters
Tomatoes: 15-40 piasters
Garlic: 50-100 piasters
Carrots: 30-50 piasters
Cucumbers: 15-30 piasters
Cauliflower: 15-35 piasters
Mushrooms: 400-450 piasters
Apples: 50-100 piasters
Pomegranate: 60-150 piasters
Lemons: 40-60 piasters
Bananas: 50-65 piasters
Lettuce: 20-30 piasters
