At precisely 11:24 AM local time Tuesday, the operations room received a distress call reporting a fire in the Qastal area. Responding swiftly, Issa and his team rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found the fire engulfing an apartment on the fourth floor, with inhabitants trapped inside.

The team swiftly split into two units: one focused on extinguishing the flames, and the other on rescuing those trapped within.

Issa recounted that he was part of the rescue unit, and upon entering the fiery premises, the team encountered intense heat.

After cooling the area down, the mission shifted to locating the trapped individuals.

During the operation, one of his colleagues successfully rescued the first child, Issa discovered two more children in another room.

He positioned them near a window as the smoke and heat intensified.

Sensing their struggle to breathe, he decided to share his breathing apparatus with them, a decision that would later impact his own health.

With a rotational arrangement, he provided the children with the apparatus until additional support arrived from his colleagues. Together, they managed to safely evacuate the apartment.

However, after relinquishing his breathing equipment to the children, Issa began experiencing breathing difficulties due to the hazardous fumes from the fire.

He was swiftly transported to the hospital for essential medical care. Fortunately, his overall health remains stable.

This heroic account highlights the selfless actions of first responders like Issa, who risk their well-being to safeguard others in perilous situations.
