A domestic worker, identified as Aisha, made an escape after taking a substantial amount of money and clothing from her employer's residence in the Jabal al-Zuhour area in Amman.

The homeowner and employer, who chose not to disclose her full name, recounted in a conversation with Roya that the worker absconded from the residence at approximately 10am Thursday.

The maid, who holds Ugandan nationality, fled the premises after successfully making off with a significant sum of money and a selection of her employer's clothing.

She went on to mention that, upon reviewing the surveillance footage, she discovered that the worker exited through the garage, an area not covered by security cameras, which hindered efforts to trace her whereabouts.

The employer promptly notified the relevant security authorities about the incident.

In an appeal to the public, the homeowner urged citizens and anyone with information regarding Aisha to contact the nearest security center.

The employer also noted that the worker had arrived in Jordan approximately three and a half months ago and had left the residence without taking her passport along.
