The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah announced that the number of Jordanian pilgrims has reached 234,000, marking a 50 percent increase compared to the previous year.

He told Roya that the purpose of launching the "Nusuk" platform in Jordan is to facilitate Hajj and Umrah procedures for pilgrims from Jordan, Palestine, Syria and the Levant region in general.

Additionally, it aims to streamline communication between Jordanian Hajj and Umrah companies and their counterparts in Saudi Arabia.

He also noted that some Saudi airlines have offered discounts of up to 25 percent on ticket purchases this year.

Furthermore, there has been an increase in allocated seats for travel through these airlines, with the commencement of flights from Aqaba Airport to Jeddah and Riyadh for the first time.

Rabiah emphasized that there are major projects underway to develop the border crossings between Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Coordination with the Ministry of Interior for continuous improvement is ongoing.

Regarding Hajj and Umrah visas, which can now be issued electronically in less than 24 hours, Rabiah stated that they allow visitors to explore all Saudi cities.

The "Nusuk" platform, the official unified platform for pilgrims to Mecca and Madinah, set up an interactive booth at the Abdali Mall in the capital city of Amman.

The booth aimed to introduce visitors to the platform and the services it provides.

Launched by Saudi Arabia last year, the "Nusuk" platform aims to facilitate the journey of pilgrims and visitors, enhance their experience, and provide all necessary services, including obtaining visas, booking Umrah packages, post-Umrah enrichment trips, accommodation options, transportation, as well as comprehensive information about the rituals, historical sites, and Islamic heritage destinations.

The informative booth in Abdali Mall offered visitors immersive experiences, including stories about the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the story of the Isra and Mi'raj (Night Journey and Ascension to Heaven), and the honorable Prophet's migration.

For those interested in performing Umrah and visiting the holy sites, the "Nusuk" application can be downloaded from the link www.nusuk.sa. This provides information on visa options, additional details, and facilitations.

It is worth noting that holders of all types of Saudi visas can visit all regions and perform Umrah throughout the year, except during the Hajj season.
