In a devastating accident Saturday in the Abu Nseir area in Amman, two people lost their lives.

Both Dr. Ibrahim Dabouqi (48) and Sheikh Adib Atwan died on their way to a vehicle repair shop for an oil change.

Unfortunately, the brakes failed suddenly, resulting in the loss of these two individuals, leaving two families in profound grief.

Abdullah Dabouqi recounts, "My father left with my 16-year-old brother, Jafar, and my aunt, who is in her fifties, to get the car's oil changed. However, the vehicle's brakes failed suddenly while driving, causing it to lose control and overturn."

With sorrow and pain, Dabouqi remembers his father, a dentist known for his kindness and love for others, and his aunt's husband who also passed away.

Abdullah reveals that his 16-year-old brother, Jafar, who remains hospitalized due to fractures and bruises, was with them.

After the accident occurred, Civil Defense teams rushed to the scene to evacuate the deceased and transport those who were injured to the Salt Governmental Hospital.

Social media platforms are shrouded in mourning for the loss of Dr. Dabouqi and Sheikh Atwan.
