Thousands marched in support of Palestinians in the US city of Boston for the 'All Out For Gaza' protest Sunday.

Demonstrators gathered in Copley Square and marched through the city to the Consulate General of the Israeli Occupation.

Lea Kayali, an organizer with the Palestinian Youth Movement, said: "There are what seems like thousands of people in the greater Boston area that are gathered to demand an end to the genocide of Palestinians that is being funded by US taxpayer dollars. As I'm speaking, around 4,500 Palestinians have been murdered by the Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, almost half of those people are children, there is no food, there is no water, there is no electricity, there is no fuel. For context, the Gaza Strip is a very, very small area, 140 square miles. So, that means that 2.3 million people in that area have nowhere to go. And in fact, half of those people have been asked to flee from the north to the south, which means that one of the most densely populated areas in the world is now twice as crowded. And still, the Israeli army is indiscriminately striking north south and center of Gaza, including places that are deemed to be safe zones, like schools, and hospitals like the Al-Ahli hospital where hundreds of Palestinians, including patients and doctors were killed earlier this week, including mosques, including churches, and, you know, there's nowhere safe for Palestinians of Gaza. And I want to be clear that this is intentional because Israel is waging a war on Palestinians' right to live, and people are here today to demand an end to that, and to demand an end to US complicity in that brutal, ongoing ethnic cleansing that sort of 75 years ago, in Palestine."

A protestor, Driss Jamel Eddine, said: "As you can see from the crowd, it's not just Muslims here, or Palestinians. It's people from all over the world. Because you don't have to be pro-Palestinian or belonging to any religion to come out and voice your word. Because this is something that touches all humans. If anybody that has a little bit of humanity on their hearts, they will support Palestinians, because it's what's happening right now. There's a genocide, the killing of babies, the killings of women, bombing of hospitals. This is unprecedented."

Another protestor from Cambridge, Roberta, said: "Israelis got their state and Palestinians never did. And how many years ago was it from 1948, 75 years? Enough. It's like 'enough' and America has been supporting this. It's crazy. Our government has supported this. And as you can see now the people are finally saying 'Enough, we're not doing this anymore.'"
