Images of firemen and ambulances on the building site in the northern German city of Hamburg, where at least three workers were killed when scaffolding collapsed.

Other laborers were still thought to be trapped under the wreckage from the accident, which occurred shortly after 0800 GMT on Monday (Oct. 30).

Some 70 emergency responders were at the site seeking to rescue those trapped in the rubble.
