The United Nations' Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs called Wednesday for immediate action to curb the massacre taking place in Gaza, following the Israeli Occupation Forces' incursion into Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the Palestinian territory.

Martin Griffiths stated in a press release, "As the massacre in Gaza reaches new levels of horror each day, the world continues to watch in a state of shock as hospitals come under gunfire, malnourished children die, and the entire population is deprived of basic means of survival. This cannot be allowed to continue."
