In a statement released Friday, the PSD emphasized their dedication to upholding free expression while ensuring safety through collaborative efforts. This reassurance comes amid ongoing marches across Jordan expressing solidarity for Gaza and the West Bank.
The PSD aims to maintain a secure environment during these gatherings, underscoring its ongoing support for freedom of expression in the country.

Earlier Friday, Jordanians staged a solidarity march in the heart of the country, Amman, expressing support for the Palestinian resistance and standing in solidarity with the people of the Gaza Strip enduring Israeli Occupation bombardment amid a complete siege.
Organized by the National Forum for Supporting the Resistance and Protecting the Homeland, the march reflected the belief that the United States plays a role in supporting the Israeli Occupation's aggression against Gaza, providing arms to the Tel Aviv army, and violating hospitals.
Similar solidarity marches took place in Aqaba, Tafila, and Zarqa in Jordan, where participants rallied behind the Palestinian resistance and the resilient people of Gaza, condemning the international community's silence regarding ongoing massacres and civilian targeting.
Jordanians reiterated their solidarity with Gaza, particularly in the face of the occupation's systematic policy of displacing Palestinians and engaging in acts of genocide.
