President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Tel Aviv should release Palestinian prisoners, and if it releases about 10,000 Palestinian prisoners, Ankara will exert all its efforts to secure the release of those held by Hamas.
"We live in a very important geography, and we have a very important cultural heritage, historical, political, and diplomatic responsibilities. Turkey is living in a ring of fire," Erdogan added.
He emphasized the need to stand against oppressors and called Tel Aviv a "terrorist state."
The Turkish president said, "The more Turkey's strength grows in all fields, the larger the hostilities it faces. Anyone who talks about us, Syria, Iraq, Karabakh, Libya, Bosnia, and Jerusalem is, in fact, hindering Turkey's great progress, intentionally or unintentionally."
He continued, "We will file a complaint with over two thousand lawyers against the massacres in the Gaza Strip."
