According to the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz, an investigation by the Tel Aviv police indicated that an Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) plane targeted music festival attendees near Rimal near Gaza on Oct. 7.
The initial police inquiry suggested that an IOF aircraft bombed a gathering near Rimal on that day, and the armed individuals at the scene were reportedly unaware of the event where 364 people were killed.
On Oct. 7, the IOF launched a military offensive against the Gaza Strip, named Operation Iron Swords, conducting a series of intense airstrikes on various areas in the Stip.
This operation resulted in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians and thousands more injured, in addition to significant destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions and infrastructure.
According to the Hebrew Broadcasting Authority, the number of casualties, including Israeli Occupation soldiers and settlers, reached 1,538, including 378 soldiers, with approximately 5,000 others injured, since Oct. 7.
