Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Municipal Affairs, Tawfiq Krishan, stated that “the government is studying all options to respond to the Israeli Occupation’s aggression against Gaza and its repercussions on national interest, in full coordination with the House of Representatives to obtain the appropriate decisions that take into account the public interest.”
Krishan added, in his speech during the House of Representatives session Monday, that the government will study all the recommendations of the Parliamentary Legal Committee related to Jordan’s agreements with the Israeli Occupation and will consider the public’s best interest with every step.
He added that His Majesty King Abdullah II, the government, and the House of Representatives are all thoroughly involved together regarding the Palestinian cause.
Lower House Speaker, Ahmed Al-Safadi, emphasized that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King, is at the forefront in defending the Palestinian cause; constantly calling for an end to the brutal aggression against the people of Gaza.
Safadi stressed that the House of Representatives will live up to people’s expectations regarding the agreements with the Israeli Occupation, pointing out that the Legal Committee in the House of Representatives is handling the matter, with an upcoming meeting with the Minister of Energy regarding the matter.
