King warns of perils in Gaza as aggression persists, humanitarian situation deteriorates

During his meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar on Friday, His Majesty King Abdullah II expressed deep concern about the ongoing aggression in Gaza and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions.

In a discussion held at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai, His Majesty urged immediate international efforts to secure a ceasefire and lift the siege, emphasizing the urgent need to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza facing a dire situation.

King Abdullah highlighted Jordan's active role in addressing the humanitarian crisis by closely coordinating with the United Nations and international organizations.

The aim is to provide substantial humanitarian aid and ensure its continuous and sustainable delivery to the people of Gaza.

Additionally, on the sidelines of the conference, His Majesty held separate meetings with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian and the leader of the British Labor Party, Sir Keir Starmer.

The discussions involved key officials such as Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi, and Director of His Majesty the King's Office, Dr. Jaafar Hassan.
