An officer in charge of the Golani unit on the Gaza Strip border reportedly experienced nausea and an increased heart rate after opening fire on Israeli Occupation soldiers, mistakenly thinking they were members of the Qassam Brigades.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), in turn, fired on him, believing he was a Qassam member, resulting in his injuries. The nature of the injuries sustained by the soldiers was not disclosed.

Israeli Occupation resumed its aggression against Gaza after the temporary humanitarian truce, which began on Nov. 24 and was extended for an additional three days.

The ongoing aggression, lasting since Oct. 7, has led to significant casualties, with more than 15,000 Palestinians martyred, including 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, along with more than 36,000 wounded.

On the 56th day of the Gaza aggression, the Israeli Occupation army resumed military operations, launching airstrikes on various parts of Gaza, resulting in numerous casualties. Violent clashes between the resistance and the occupation army were reported in different areas, accompanied by sirens sounding across the besieged Strip.

In response to Israeli Occupatio violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, the Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, initiated Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7. Simultaneously, the Israeli Occupation launched a military operation named “Iron Sword,” conducting aggressive raids on multiple locations in the Gaza Strip.
