The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed Saturday the death of one soldier within its ranks during the October 7 operation.

The late announcement of the death of Colonel Esaf Hamami, the commander of the Southern Brigade in the Gaza Division, indicates that his body is currently being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

With this announcement, the number of casualties among the IOF rises to 396 since the beginning of the "Operation Aqsa Typhoon."

The Israeli Occupation Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, stated that the Aggression against the Gaza Strip would intensify and will extend to areas not previously targeted in the Strip.

"We will adapt ourselves to the terrain conditions in which we will fight," Gantz stated in a video broadcasted by Hebrew media on Saturday.

A senior advisor to the Israeli Occupation Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that Tel Aviv would do its utmost to keep settlers away from combat zones, emphasizing that "Hamas will not be allowed to attack Tel Aviv again."

“The [Israeli Occupation] will assert its security control over the Gaza Strip to prevent Hamas from returning,” he added

He also noted that the Occupation’s leadership will facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza simultaneously with the ground invasion.
