Gaza’s Civil Defense reported that Israeli Occupation Forces’ (IOF) aircraft targeted a residential block housing approximately 1,000 people in the Shejaiya neighborhood in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza Government's media office stated that the IOF aircraft destroyed more than 50 residential buildings and houses in the Shujaiya neighborhood, amid intensifying bombardment since Friday after the week-long truce came to an end.

The IOF intensified their airstrikes on various areas in Khan Yunis since Saturday morning, with their warships off the coast of Gaza targeting Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that the US will continue to work with Qatar and Egypt to resume the truce and deliver aid to the Gaza Strip.

The IOF aggression against Gaza since its commencement has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 15,000 people, including over 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women. Additionally, 73 journalists have been martyred, according to official numbers by Gaza Government's media office.
