Top US diplomat Antony Blinken says an Israeli Occupation strike that killed a journalist and wounded six others on Oct. 13 in southern Lebanon should be "fully and thoroughly investigated."

"It is important and appropriate that it be fully and thoroughly investigated. My understanding is that Israel has initiated such an investigation and it will be important to see that investigation come to a conclusion and to see the results of the investigation," he says when asked about the case at a news conference in Washington, DC.

Thursday, an investigation by Agence France-Presse into the strike in southern Lebanon on Oct. 13 that killed a Reuters journalist and injured six others, including two from AFP, pointed to a tank shell only used by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in this high-tension border region.
