The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced Friday evening the targeting of an Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) infantry unit with an anti-personnel explosive device in the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

The targeting resulted in direct injuries, Al-Qassam said.

The Brigades also reported targeting six IOF vehicles with "Yassin 105" shells in the Sheikh Radwan and Zaytoun areas of Gaza City.

Additionally, they targeted three IOF vehicles with "Yassin 105" shells east of Khan Yunis.

Palestinian resistance forces engaged in intense battles with the IOF that had infiltrated multiple fronts in the Gaza Strip Friday.
