The spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades issued a statement reporting significant achievements over the past 24 hours in various combat zones across the Gaza Strip.

The statement highlights the destruction of 21 military vehicles, either fully or partially, thwarting an attempt to free the captive soldier Saar Baruch, resulting in his death, and causing casualties among other 'Israeli captives' due to ruthless shelling of Gaza areas.

Additionally, Al-Qassam forces targeted invading Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) with anti-fortification shells and anti-personnel mines, engaging in close combat that resulted in confirmed fatalities and injuries among the IOF, he noted.

They successfully detonated several tunnel openings and homes housing enemy soldiers, while pounding IOF concentrations with mortar shells and short-range missiles, Abu Ubaida said.

A barrage of intensive rocket attacks was also directed toward Tel Aviv and other strategic targets, he added.
