As the Kingdom continues to feel the effects of the lingering cold air mass and ongoing rainfall across various regions, certain areas are experiencing dense fog, leading to reduced horizontal visibility for drivers.

A surveillance camera captured the widespread dense fog in several parts of the capital, Amman, particularly in West Amman. The airport road also faced heavy fog, posing challenges for drivers in terms of limited visibility.

In light of these conditions, the Meteorological Department issued warnings to drivers for today, Thursday.

The department's director emphasized the potential for decreased horizontal visibility in the morning, attributing it to fog in mountainous regions, plains, and desert areas. He also cautioned about the increased risk of road slipping in rainy areas and the potential for reduced visibility due to dust, particularly in desert regions.
