The Director of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sufian Al-Qudah, stated that the ministry is closely monitoring the incident of the killing of a Jordanian citizen.

The citizen was a victim of an armed robbery as he was leaving his workplace in the city of Chicago, United States. 

The ministry and the Jordanian Embassy in Washington are actively collaborating with US authorities to closely monitor the ongoing investigations, uncover details of the incident, identify the perpetrators, and ensure legal accountability.

Al-Qudah added that the Jordanian Embassy is in the process of repatriating the deceased's body to Jordan, in coordination with the family once the investigative procedures conclude.

Al-Qudah extended his condolences and deepest sympathies to the deceased's family amid these difficult circumstances.
