The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has reiterated its warnings regarding the low-pressure system that will affect Jordan, emphasizing several precautionary guidelines.

The Directorate stated that Jordan is expected to be impacted by the unstable weather conditions on Thursday and the low-pressure system on Friday, according to statements issued by relevant authorities.

It urged people to adhere to safe and proper behavior and follow the following preventive guidelines:

- Stay away from water gathering sites, flood channels, and valleys.

- Avoid risking crossing water gatherings and floods by vehicles or on foot.

- Drive cautiously, keep a safe distance from high speeds, and adhere to traffic rules, especially during reduced visibility due to fog, dusty winds, or rainfall.

- Safely and properly use heating methods of various kinds and ensure adequate ventilation from time to time.

- Secure objects susceptible to being carried away by strong winds.

- Contact the unified emergency number (911) throughout the Kingdom when needed.
