Jordan is expected to experience a slight decrease in temperatures on Thursday, with the weather becoming very cold and partly to mostly cloudy. Scattered rain showers are anticipated in various regions of the kingdom, potentially heavy for a short period, especially in the southern regions. Thunderstorms and hail may accompany the rain, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Snow showers are expected over high mountainous areas for limited periods, possibly including parts of the eastern and southeastern regions, occasionally mixed with rain. The likelihood of light accumulation on the tops of the high southern mountains is low, with a decrease in precipitation intensity in the evening. The winds will be moderately brisk and northwest.

Thursday night, the weather will further cool down, and the sky will gradually become cloudy. Rain showers are expected late at night in the north and central parts of the kingdom, with a possibility of light snow showers mixed with rain over the mountainous highlands. The winds will be moderately westward.

The Meteorological Department warns of reduced horizontal visibility, especially over mountainous areas, due to fog and low clouds touching the ground. Caution is advised for the risk of sliding on roads in areas experiencing rain and snow showers, as well as the potential for reduced visibility due to dust in desert areas.

Friday will see very cold and partly to mostly cloudy weather, with occasional rainfall in various regions of the kingdom. The precipitation will be heavy at times in the central and southern parts, along with parts of the eastern regions, accompanied by thunder and hail. There is a chance of snow showers over the high southern mountains, with limited accumulation possible. Precipitation intensity is expected to decrease in the evening, with brisk westward winds.

A slight increase in temperatures is expected on Saturday, with very cold and partly to mostly cloudy weather. Scattered rain showers are anticipated in various areas of the kingdom. The winds will be moderate and occasionally active, coming from the southwest.
