The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) has refuted claims made by a Hamas official on Sunday, denying any plans to relocate its Gaza offices to Amman, Jordan.

Head of Hamas's Refugee Department Issam Udwan, asserted during a sit-in strike that UNRWA was reducing its presence in Gaza with intentions to move offices to Amman.

UNRWA spokesman Adnan Abu Hasna dismissed these allegations as completely baseless, affirming that the agency is operating normally, and new employees have been hired in certain departments.
