The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that the Houthis launched six anti-ship ballistic missile attacks toward the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The US Central Command added, in a statement posted on its “X” account, that three of the Houthis’ missiles attempted to target the “MV Star Nasia,” a Marshall Island-flagged, Greek owned-and-operated bulk carrier transiting the Gulf of Aden.

MV Star Nasia reported an explosion near the ship causing minor damage but no injuries, the vessel remains seaworthy and is continuing toward its destination - per CENTCOM.

It further added that the three remaining missiles were likely aimed at “MV Morning Tide,” a Barbados-flagged, UK-owned cargo ship operating in the Southern Red Sea.

The three missiles impacted the water near the ship without effect. No injuries or damage were reported, and the vessel was able to continue its journey.
