Hezbollah announced Thursday targeting the "Israeli" Eastern Brigade 769, a part of the Galilee Division 91, stationed at the Kiryat Shmona base.

Rockets were fired from Lebanon towards "Israeli" positions in the Shebaa Farms, prompting the activation of the Iron Dome defense system - per Roya’s correspondent.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) retaliated by shelling the town of Kfarkela and surrounding areas including Odaisseh, Tayr Harfa, and Jebbayn in southern Lebanon.

Following the artillery barrage, an "Israeli" Merkava tank directly fired shells towards Kfarkela. El Hamames hills and the southern outskirts of Khiam city were also targeted.
