King Abdullah departed Jordan on Thursday for a tour that includes the United States, Canada, France, and Germany.

The Royal tour aims to garner international support for a ceasefire in Gaza, protect civilians, ensure the permanent and sufficient provision of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and emphasize the importance of finding a political horizon leading to a comprehensive settlement to end the aggression.

His Majesty will meet with US President Joe Biden and key members of the US administration, as well as several members of the Senate and House of Representatives. In Ottawa, he will meet with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

In Paris, His Majesty the King will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, while during his visit to Germany, he will participate in the sixtieth session of the Munich Security Conference and meet with several senior Western and European officials.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein took the constitutional oath as the regent in the presence of the Cabinet.
