The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced the death of two of its soldiers in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip.

Sgt. First Class Adi Eldor, 21 of Haifa, of the Maglan unit - killed in south Gaza battles.

Sgt. First Class (reserve) Alon Kleinman, 21 of Tel Aviv, of the Maglan unit - killed in south Gaza battles.

The IOF stated that they were not killed in the alleged rescue operation that took place earlier Monday, but in separate battles in Gaza.

The death toll of IOF soldiers since the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip on Oct. 27, 2023 has risen to 229.
