After the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a night-time rescue operation to free two captives held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on his “X” account that “Only the continuation of military pressure, until complete victory, will result in the release of all our abductees.”

“I salute our brave warriors for the bold action that led to their liberation,” he added, “We will not miss any opportunity to bring [the captives] home.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed earlier on Monday that it has safely rescued two captives held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The two captives are Fernando Simon Marmam. 60 years old, and Norberto Louis Har, 70, and were rescued in a joint operation by the IOF, Shin Bet, and the “Israeli” police in Rafah - per official statements.

The IOF’s spokesperson Daniel Hagari said that the hostages were held in a second floor apartment in Rafah, and the special forces broke into the building at 1:49 a.m.
