National team’s reception in Amman International Stadium

The Jordanian national football team’s plane has arrived at Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, from Doha, Qatar - as Jordanians await to give them a warm reception after their spectacular run in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

At the forefront of those welcoming the national team were His Majesty King's Deputy, His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, and Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh.

During the reception of the national team, His Royal Highness Prince Ali stated, "What the Nashama have achieved proves that nothing is impossible, and what matters is the future and the World Cup qualifiers."

Al-Nashama’s coach Hussein Ammouta, said, "The achievements made can be built upon, and the credit for the success on the field goes back to the stars of the team and what they have achieved."

As for the captain of the national team, Ehsan Haddad, he stated, "We are going through our best moments, feeling immensely proud, and the achievements will benefit Jordanian football, and we will build upon them with high aspirations for everyone."

National team star Anas Bani Yaseen said, "We are proud of this achievement and delighted with what we have accomplished, and we will build upon what has been achieved."

Star winger Musa Al-Taamari said, "We have a long journey ahead of us in the World Cup qualifiers, and we will continue the success achieved in the Asian Cup in the World Cup qualifiers."

The Secretary-General of the Jordan Football Association, Samar Nassar, affirmed, "The Hashemites have supported the Nashama from day one until the end of the Asian Cup, and the stars of the team won the hearts of Jordanians before securing the second place in the tournament."

Large crowds gathered at Queen Alia International Airport and the streets of Amman, to welcome the national team.

After their arrival, the national team's bus will depart from Queen Alia International Airport to Airport Street, then to Abdoun Corridor, and onward to the Fourth Circle, before finally heading to the Sports City and the Amman International Stadium.

Upon the national team's bus arrival at the Amman Stadium, the champions will disembark onto the pitch to greet the fans amid a festive and celebratory atmosphere.

The Jordan Football Association will organize a special reception and honor ceremony for the Nashama at the Amman International Stadium at 6:30 pm.

The Association announced that tickets for the ceremony will be available to the national team's fans for free, after seat reservations are made through the online platform.
