Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, urged Israeli Occupation's allies, especially the United States, on Monday to halt arms supplies amid the killing of "a very large number of people" in Gaza.

Referring to President Biden's statement last week that Israeli Occupation military action in Gaza "exceeded the limit," Borrell said, "Well, if you believe that too many people are being killed, maybe you should provide less arms in order to prevent so many people being killed."

"If the international community believes that this is a slaughter, that too many people are being killed, maybe we have to think about the provision of arms," he added.

During a press conference in Brussels alongside UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, pressured by Israeli Occupation to resign, Borrell asked, "Isn't this illogical?"

EU's top diplomat also criticized the directive issued by Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "evacuate" over a million Palestinians who sought refuge in the city of Rafah in Gaza ahead of an impending Israeli Occupation military operation there.

Borrell questioned, "Will they be evacuated (...) to where? To the moon? Where will these people go?"
