Recent satellite images and radar data show the beginning of the impact of weather instability over parts of western Irbid, Jerash, Ajloun, and extending to Al-Salt. Some of these areas are experiencing varying intensities of rainfall, accompanied by hail showers - per ArabiaWeather.

Jordan is currently affected by a cold and maritime air mass accompanying a low-pressure system centered over Cyprus, resulting in a noticeable drop in temperatures and cloudy, rainy weather in most areas.

Heavy rainfall is expected at times in parts of the western regions, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail showers, leading to the formation of floods in valleys and low-lying areas. Westerly winds will be moderate to brisk, causing dust storms, especially in the desert areas.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department report, the chances of rain will gradually decrease, with the weather becoming colder, and the winds will be moderate westerly, occasionally becoming active.

The weather will remain cold and partly cloudy on Thursday. By noon, the weather will turn cloudy again, with renewed rainfall in many areas. Heavy rainfall is expected at times in some areas, especially in the south of the kingdom, including the city of Aqaba, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail showers, leading to the formation of floods in valleys and low-lying areas. By nightfall, the chances of rain will decrease in the northern and central regions, with southwesterly to westerly winds becoming moderate.

Friday will see a slight decrease in temperatures, with cold and cloudy weather and rainfall expected in many areas, occasionally heavy in the western parts of the kingdom, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail showers. The winds will be northwesterly and brisk.

On Saturday, temperatures will rise slightly, with cold and partly cloudy to cloudy weather, and occasional rain showers expected in northern Jordan and parts of the central regions. The winds will be northwesterly and brisk.

Temperatures in East Amman on Wednesday are expected to range between 13 and six, in West Amman between 11 and four, in the northern highlands between nine and three, and in the southern highlands between 10 and two.

In the desert areas, temperatures will range between 14 and five, and in the plains between 13 and six. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 19 and 11, and in the southern Jordan Valley between 21 and 13. At the Dead Sea, temperatures will range between 20 and 12, and in the Gulf of Aqaba between 21 and 12.
