Gold prices tumble yet again in Jordan Wednesday

Wednesday, gold prices in the Jordanian market kept declining, recording another 20 piasters decrease, according to the prices quoted by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.

The purchase price for citizens of one gram of 21-carat gold stands at JD 40.6, with a selling price of JD 38.9.

The purchase price of one gram of 24-carat gold is JD 47.8 with a selling price of JD 45.

As for 18-carat gold, purchase and selling prices stand at JD 36.1 and JD 33.1, respectively.

The selling price of the Ottoman lira in the markets is approximately JOD 289, while the selling price of the English lira is around JOD 330.
