The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) fired live ammunition towards young men in Beit Ummar near the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank on Wednesday - per Roya’s correspondent.

Among the casualties, a 17-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, while an 18-year-old was shot in the foot. Furthermore, a child sustained a foot injury from live fire.

In other developments, Palestinian prisoner advocacy organizations operating within Israeli Occupation prisons revealed that the number of arrests in the West Bank has surpassed 7,000 since the onset of the Israeli Occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7 of last year.

In a joint statement, comprising the Commission of Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS), and Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, it was revealed that approximately 220 females, including those arrested from the 1948 territories, have been detained. Moreover, over 440 children have been arrested.

The IOF's crackdown extends to journalists as well, with 53 reporters detained since October 7, among whom 36 remain in custody, while 21 have been placed under administrative detention.

Administrative detention orders, numbering more than 3,490, include both fresh and renewed mandates, with some targeting minors and women.
