Both the Amal Movement and Hezbollah have confirmed the deaths of five of their members in clashes with the Israeli Occupation army in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah announced that its members "ascended as martyrs on the path to Jerusalem," offering no further details.

While Hezbollah reported the deaths of two of its members in clashes with the Israeli Occupation army, the Amal Movement stated that two others were killed.

Lebanese Hezbollah disclosed on Thursday evening that numerous Katyusha rockets were launched at northern occupied Palestine in retaliation for the occupation's raids the previous day, which targeted two areas in southern Lebanon and resulted in civilian casualties.

In a statement, Hezbollah declared, "In an initial response to the massacres in Nabatieh and Sowana, the Islamic Resistance fighters attacked the Kiryat Shmona settlement with numerous Katyusha rockets."

On Thursday, the Israeli Occupation army alleged that it had targeted and killed a senior commander in Hezbollah's Radwan forces, along with his deputy and another member, on Lebanese soil during raids conducted by occupation aircraft on Wednesday.
