French President Emmanuel Macron cautioned against any potential military action by the Israeli Occupation targeting Rafah, stressing that such an event would result in an unparalleled humanitarian crisis and mark a significant turning point.

During his meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II in Paris on Friday, Macron reiterated that achieving a ceasefire in Gaza is of utmost importance. He emphasized that France does not view recognition of a Palestinian state as a taboo subject.

King Abdullah II arrived at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Friday, where he was received by President Macron. The King had left home the previous Thursday after a diplomatic tour that included visits to the United States, Canada, France, and Germany.

The purpose of the royal tour is to garner international support for a ceasefire in Gaza, protect civilians, ensure sustained and adequate humanitarian aid to the Strip, and underscore the necessity of reaching a political resolution to end the Palestinian-Israeli Occupation conflict.

During his visit to Washington, King Abdullah II held discussions with President Joe Biden, members of his administration, as well as senators and representatives in Congress. Additionally, he met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during his visit to Ottawa.
