The Israeli Occupation renewed Wednesday its shelling of several towns in southern Lebanon.

Two airstrikes by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) targeted the vicinity of the town of Majdal Zoun, as well as the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon, Roya's correspondent reported.

Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement urging the international community to pressure the Israeli Occupation to cease its provocative attempts to expand the scope of the war.

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry called on countries interested in restoring stability and calm to southern Lebanon to condemn the ongoing and continuous attacks by the Israeli Occupation on Lebanon. This includes the assault on Wednesday on the town of Ghaziyeh in southern Lebanon.
