The representative of Qatar at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) asserted on Friday that Doha firmly believes in the necessity of establishing international peace and justice through adherence to international law.

During the hearings on the occupation of Palestinian territories, Qatar's representative emphasized the nation's rejection of double standards, advocating for the universal application of international law.

He underscored that the credibility of international law hinges on the decisions and opinions of the court, highlighting how the actions of the Israeli Occupation validate the assertion that the situation in Palestine constitutes the most significant threat to international security.

Furthermore, he emphasized the ICJ's role in assessing the consequences of "Israel's" practices, emphasizing the imperative for the Israeli Occupation to cease.

The Qatari representative before the ICJ reiterated that the occupation's contravention of international law is not incidental, emphasizing the court's jurisdiction and its obligation to provide an advisory opinion.
