Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, and the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced carrying out multiple operations targeting the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) troops and vehicles.

The Al-Quds Brigades reported that its members ambushed an IOF engineering unit and a D9 bulldozer in a “well-prepared engineering ambush,” during which several barrel bombs of the "Thaqib" type were detonated in the area of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis.

Additionally, the Al-Quds Brigades announced targeting a Merkava tank with a Tandem rocket and hitting a number of soldiers inside it from point zero in the Abasan area.

On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced targeting an Israeli "Merkava" tank with a "Yassin-105" rocket southwest of the Zaitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also mentioned that its members managed to target a group of IOF soldiers inside a house with an anti-personnel shell, resulting in casualties among them, including fatalities and injuries, south of the Zaitoun neighborhood.
