The United States and Britain have launched new attacks on Yemen, Saturday, under the pretext of targeting the Houthis.

British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Cameron, stated that Britain, in collaboration with the US, carried out strikes on military targets belonging to the Houthis.

Cameron added that the Houthis continue their attacks on shipping vessels in the Red Sea despite warnings.

Yemen's Houthis Spokesperson and Brigadier General, Yahya Saree, announced early Sunday the execution of a military operation targeting an American oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden. This came in response to American and British airstrikes targeting several locations in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, according to Yahya Saree.

Saree affirmed that targeting the American oil tanker was in retaliation for the American aggression against the Yemeni people.

The Houthi military spokesperson mentioned that a US warship in the Red Sea was targeted with a drone strike.

American-British aggression targeted five locations in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, on Saturday evening, Media outlets affiliated with Houthis reported.
