US soldier sets himself on fire outside “Israeli” embassy in protest of Gaza genocide

Aaron Bushnell, a United States Air Force active-duty member, has set himself on fire outside the “Israeli” embassy in Washington, DC in protest of the ongoing Israeli Occupation aggression against Gaza and the ongoing genocide.

Bushnell identified himself with his name in the video, then shouted “I will no longer be complicit in genocide.” Bushnell then poured a clear liquid and ignited himself while repeatedly shouting “Free Palestine” while burning.

“I can confirm an active duty Airman was involved in today’s incident,” a US Air Force Spokesperson told CNN.

Bushnell was transported to a local hospital where he was in critical condition, he later succumbed to his wounds per Journalist Talia Jane.

The fire department in Washington responded to a call reporting that a person was on fire in front of the "Israeli" embassy at 1:00 PM EST. Upon arrival, they found that the Secret Service had already extinguished the fire.

The Israeli Occupation embassy in Washington state that none of its staff were injured in the incident.

Bushnell himself streamed his act on the live-streaming platform “Twitch” and was later removed from the website.
