New York Times Reporter Anat Schwartz, liked a series of “pro-Israel” posts on the “X” platform, one of which was calling for “Gaza to be turned to a slaughterhouse” if Hamas does not return the “Israeli” captives currently held in the Gaza Strip.

Another post -or “tweet”- liked by Schwartz said that a “disproportionate response” is needed against Gaza and that if a hair falls from one of the captives, then “Israel” should execute Palestinian prisoners.

The post added that “Israel” should “violate every norm on the way to victory…those in front of us are animals.”

Schwartz, who works as a freelance reporter for the NYT, violated the company’s policy according to the newspaper’s Spokesperson Danielle Rhodes.

“Those likes are unacceptable violations of our company’s policy, we are currently reviewing the matter,” Rhodes said.

The New York Times is under heavy criticism as readers and observers lambasted the newspaper for their “pro-Israel” views and editorial policy, with the latest incident being the US Air Force member who set himself on fire in protest of the Israeli Occupation aggression against Gaza - with many expressing their discontent that the NYT failed to state so explicitly in the title and the article.
