Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi affirmed, during a phone call received from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the urgent need for an immediate cessation of the “Israeli” aggression and ensuring the delivery of sufficient and immediate aid to the Gaza Strip.

Both parties agreed to continue communication to explore ways to intensify efforts to ensure aid delivery and protect civilians.

They also emphasized the necessity of international and effective action to end the conflict and achieve a just, permanent, and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
