Jordan's recent efforts to deliver essential aid to the Gaza Strip have drawn global attention, highlighting the plight faced by Palestinians due to the Israeli Occupation blockade.

These operations, led by Jordan, have significantly impacted the supply of food and medicine to Palestinians in Gaza, prompting other countries to seek Jordan's expertise in this field.

The Washington Post wrote that Jordan has taken the lead in conducting airdrop operations, with significant pledges of support from the US Agency for International Development, promising USD 53 million in aid.

The airdrops, seen as a critical measure amid collapsing ground deliveries, aim to address the growing food crisis in Gaza, where over half a million people are on the brink of famine, including a significant number of malnourished children.

Despite the challenges and risks associated with airdrops, such efforts are deemed necessary to prevent further suffering among Gaza's vulnerable population, as highlighted by recent tragic incidents of infant mortality due to dehydration and malnutrition.
