The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Al-Balqa Police Operations Unit received a report, Tuesday evening, indicating the stabbing of a man in his thirties in Baqa'a following a brawl with others.

In a statement received by Roya, the spokesperson added that immediate action was taken to the scene. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the man had died due to his injuries, and his body was subsequently transferred to the forensic center.

He noted that investigations had commenced to identify the perpetrator of the crime and effect his arrest.

The spokesperson affirmed that, through ongoing investigations and information gathering, investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department and the Balqa Police Directorate successfully identified and apprehended the suspect, along with the weapon used in the crime.

Investigations are still ongoing.
